Entrants have just 18 hours to build the garden during heats beginning on July 22 at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
Landscapers will need to plan and mark out the garden, show hard landscaping skills - including small unit paving, block work, paving with flagstones, foundations and footings and water features – and construct pergolas, fence details and decking.
Competitors will also get the chance to show off their plan and freestyle planting talents and turf-laying abilities.
The winners will go on to the WorldSkillsUK final at The Skills Show at the Birmingham NEC in November, with the chance to compete globally.

WorldSkills is an innovative way to promote horticulture, showcase fresh talent and to encourage quality workmanship."Taking part will give landscapers a glimpse into building a show garden. Froggatt won gold for Smoke and Mirrors at The RHS London Plant and Design Show in 2012, Silver Gilt and second place in the ‘Young Designer of the Year’ Competition for Rider on the Storm at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park in 2011 and Silver Gilt for Air on a Green String at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park in 2012.
A biology graduate who specialised in botany, Froggatt started life working in wildlife conservation before becoming a gardener.
She became a partner in the Sheffield-based landscape design company, Wildflower Gardens before setting up Alexandra Froggatt Design, a garden design company which promotes environmentally friendly and sustainable gardening.
The WorldSkillsUK landscape gardening competition is run by the Assocation of Professional Landscapers in partnership with WorldSkills.
