The winners of the prestigious awards, shortlisted here, were:

  • 1-10 employees: Martin Mobbs, Lineside Nursery
  • 11-50 employees: David Higginson, New Leaf Plants
  • 50+ employees: Andrea Marshall, Sinclair

A special horticultural ambassador award was won by Professor Stefano Sogni of Zelari Piante, handed over by last year's winner Kyle Ross, of Wyevale Nurseries.

Sogni said: "It is with pride that I share with those who know me the achievement of such an acknowledgment as the one received today. Above all because it implies a passion for horticulture that I recognize as mine. Books, professional articles, reports at conferences on two continents, researches, teacher in international post-graduation courses. Love for our sector."
