Chris Whitlock is now at the helm of UK operations of the company, formerly named Natural Paving. Founder Mark Wall has become chief executive. Whitlock comes to the role after more than 30 years in the building materials industry.

Talasey Group has also expanded in the UK. It has doubled the size of its distribution centre in Doncaster and invested in additional cutting machinery, enabling it to increase capacity for bespoke supply.

The Distribution Centre will also encompass the purpose built Talasey Training Academy which offers City & Guilds-accredited courses on using and installing landscaping products in domestic applications.

The move follows the launch of Natural Paving USA Inc last year and the introduction of Talasey Group as the overarching corporate entity for the UK this January. Wall will now focus on the growth and development of Natural Paving USA Inc. The company said that it is already supplying product across the South Eastern belt of the US.

Wall said: "The past year has been a particularly busy and exciting time for us with our expansion into the American market, as well as the overall company rebrand which we rolled out earlier this year. We have an ambitious target for turnover in the next five years and the appointment of Chris Whitlock as managing director is one of the measures we have put in place to support our strategy."

Talasey Group products include Natural Paving, Vitripiazza Italian porcelain vitrified flagstones, Baksteen Dutch clay pavers, Luxigraze artificial grass and accessories, Pavetuf, stone installation cleaning and maintenance products and the new Resiscape resin-bound aggregates.
