Sunderland council offers £4,000,000 for landscaping framework

Sunderland City Council is looking to establish a framework for hard and soft landscaping including installation of play equipment and the safety surfacing.

Lot 1: Hard and soft landscape works including play equipment installation and safety surfacing.

Lot 2: Installation of safety surfacing, turfing and all enabling works.


As part of the process, the Council will also be undertaking the first two mini competitions against Lot 1 of the Framework for:

Lot 1.1 Thompson Play Park Refurbishment Works and;

Lot 1.2 Downhill Bridleway Improvement Works.

Bidders may bid for one or more lots on the framework and bidding for one or both of the mini competitions is entirely at the discretion of the bidders, however only bidders who are successful in being placed on Lot 1 of the framework and who submit a bid for one or both of the mini competitions, will have their mini competition documents evaluated.

The contract begins 23 January 2023 and ends 23 January 2027.

Expressions of interest may be submitted until 23 December 2022.
