Delivery of the post graduate-level course is now more centred online and can be flexibly studied over three to five years. It is aimed at those who already work within the horticultural industry and are in a supervisory role.
The course gives learners the opportunity to expand on their knowledge and skills in a broad range of areas, specialise in a chosen field and extend their professional network. Former alumni include RHS Garden Wisley curator Matthew Pottage and Doug Stewart, plantsperson and horticultural consultant.
RHS horticultural courses manager Suzanne Moss said: "The MHort is a flexible and affordable way to gain a degree level qualification and take that next step in your career. The recent developments mean that it is relevant to a wider range of horticultural learners, whatever their sector, or global location."
