Guy exits B&Q for Dobbies

Category manager Steve Guy has left B&Q to become head of buying for plants and gardening at Dobbies. Meanwhile, former Dobbies head of horticulture Neil Fishlock has taken Charlie Lacey's old job as director of supplier relations at Decco. Guy joins his former manager Katherine Poulter at Dobbies, where she has been commercial director for a year. Meanwhile, former Focus buying controller and Lead the Good Life managing director Gez Smith has joined MBL Group, which specialises in computer game supplies but also owns www.gardencentreonline.co.uk and www.gardenersmarket.co.uk.
