Denis Plants' Ivo Bossuyt said perennials will be peat-free next year in response to demand from the UK market. The crop will be 100% peat-free for Europe-wide sales.

Bossuyt said the move was "talk of the town" at Four Oaks: "We believe in it and for sustainability it's important. It will grow sales in the UK market."

Rijnbeek introduced a peat-free range at Four Oaks 2023 as a Dutch pioneer in the sector.
