Arrigo, who is on the latest HortWeek podcast, said: "I was the first private Brit on the ground at the border at Dorohusk taking refugees to safety. This trip got wide press coverage and I am really proud that it inspired others and now I set out to inspire others again because now there is not only more trauma with those coming over but also Ukraine fatigue. When we first went over, the refugees (All women and children) had only lost their houses and left their men behind. Now they have lost their homes, lost some of their men and left others behind, they have been raped, bombed and wounded and otherwise been traumatised.
"So I am going back to help raise awareness, from the border. Ukraine (Przemysl on the Polish border) is the same distance by car from London as Rome. When you get to the border which is a war zone, because you see the results of war, then it all changes and we can help directly. We cannot afford to get apathetic right now.
"I am also bringing out a case of Franchi veg seeds with me along with food aid, medical supplies, power banks, first aid kits and female hygiene supplies. Then we deposit those and go to collect refugees from the border after registering with the Polish Police and can direct drive them anywhere they have a registered address to go to en route back to London."
