Packed showcase

Visitors to this year's Four Oaks Trade Show can look forward to seeing an incredibly wide range of new plants, products and services as well as celebrating the best of them in the event's awards

Welcome to our preview of the 45th Four Oaks Trade Show, which takes place in Cheshire's Lower Withington on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 September at the 9.3ha nursery site.

After a second year of good gardening weather, the garden industry is in fine mood and looking forward with relish to next year's season - and that season starts right here with 10 pages of exciting news on the plants, products and services that will be on show at this year's Four Oaks event.

Alongside a detailed report on the plant offerings on show and the products and services featuring this year, we have also compiled a listing of show exhibitors and stand numbers to help you plan your visit.

The Horticulture Week team is delighted to once again be the official partner to the Four Oaks Trade Show, which remains the largest, most comprehensive event in the UK for everyone involved in the garden industry - from growers and garden retail buyers to garden landscapers and designers - and we look forward to welcoming you to our stand E45, situated in Hall E.

As always, the show promises to be packed to the rafters with new plant, product and professional service launches to inspire industry buyers, many of which will feature in the Four Oaks Trade Show Awards - always a highlight of the show.

The awards will be hosted and presented by Horticulture Week at a special reception for exhibitors, scheduled to take place the end of the first day of the show (Tuesday 8 September).

Our awards judging panel this year includes Garden Centre Association chief executive Iain Wylie and Horticulture Week technical editor Sally Drury, who has spent more than 30 years reviewing products of all kinds for the horticulture industry. The chair of the judging panel, Horticulture Week editor Kate Lowe, will present the awards at the event.

Do not forget to check out all the new plants and products entered into this year's awards in the new plants and products display area during your trip around the showground.

See you at Four Oaks.
