The player was spotted by several football fans at the show, at Lower Withington, as he toured exhibitors looking for trees and plants to buy.

Jordan Henderson was at the show on 7 September buying trees for his garden.

Henderson lives with his wife and three children in a house with a large garden close to the show site in the footballers' favourite area of the golden triangle in Cheshire.

The midfielder has played for Liverpool since 2011 and has 69 caps for England. He has been Liverpool captain since 2015.

Wyevale Nurseries' Cian Lynch said: "Not every day you see Liverpool's Jordan Henderson having a peruse at the Four Oaks Trade Show. It was a great show too, brilliant to see so many fantastic exhibits and to meet so many knowledgeable people in the industry."
