To be held in the Four Oaks seminar marquee − on Tuesday, 5 September at 2pm − ICL technical manager Andrew Wilson will explore precision nutrition and how new technology can match plants demands to inputs, while minimising environmental impact.
ICL marketing communications manager Adam Ferjani said: "In the light of new challenges created by the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and Sustainable Use Directive (SUD), ICL’s Martin Donnelly will then address sustainable crop protection techniques, embracing IPM and biological products including the biopesticide Prestop."
The second seminar − on Wednesday, 6 September at 13.30pm – sees Andrew Wilson take a very practical approach to the use and application of WSFs, including foliar feeds.
Ferjani said: "By relating their use to plants’ nutrient demands over the growing cycle, Andrew will explain what, why and when to employ them. This session will feature plenty of practical tips on how to optimise WSF nutrition programmes and maximise crops’ potential. All are welcome to attend and both seminars qualify for BASIS points."
