Grace Townsend joins national TOPSOIL manager Andy Spetch and sales manager Natalie Gudgin as a second sales manager. She previously worked at food and catering supplier Bidfood as a telesales executive responsible for obtaining and developing customers and growing her own customer base.
Kim Campton has moved from British Sugar’s Customer Services Department and is the division’s new sales support administrator. She previously worked at the Environment Agency’s Waterways Department, where she was responsible for rented moorings, including the issuing of contracts and licences.
She has also played rugby for 18 years and represented her club at county level and is particularly looking forward to working with TOPSOIL clients in the sports turf sector.
Townsend's first big event with be Horticulture Week's Parks & Gardens Live, held on 28 June at Woburn Abbey, on the same day and at the same venue as the Custodian Awards 2017 presentation.
Spetch said: "Although Sam Colman and Sally Walton are hard acts to follow, Natalie and I have been busy passing on our knowledge and experience and I know that Kim and Grace will soon be entirely confident in their roles. I wish them every success in their future careers with British Sugar TOPSOIL."
