Best April Fools in horticulture

Here are a few of the horticulture April fools highlights.

FUNKIN Fruit Farm – the only farm in the UK to grow the rare Blue Raspberry – is opening its doors to eager fruit pickers for the very first time on 1 April. Spread across a two-hectare plot in the English countryside, FUNKIN Fruit Farm is offering the public the chance to pick their own Blue Raspberries for one day only from 8am – 12pm.

Here at Niftylift Ltd, we've always prided ourselves on pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of aerial work platforms. Our commitment to innovation and compact design has led us to a groundbreaking discovery that seems straight out of a Marvel Avengers movie. In an extraordinary leap in technology—and with a bit of inspiration from Ant-Man—we're thrilled to announce our latest product line: The MicroNiftys, powered by none other than real-life Pym particles!

A tartan plant for Scotland foot ball team's Euros campaign has been secretly developed by horticulturists at Cardwell Garden Centre, near Gourock, working with renowned Spanish gardening expert, Professor Raol Di Folpays. The plant has been registered by it’s Latin name, Tartanium Hilaria with the International Cultivar Registration Authority.
