Southern Trident is now being managed by Balaji Manoharan after Steve Harper joined Grass Gains. Harper continues as Responsible Sourcing Scheme chair.

Amanda Sizer Barrett is retiring from Gardenex with Joe Denham of VegTrug is taking over.

Robert Crowder is retiring from Crowders Nurseries. The business will continue under the leadership of Simon Hawtin and James Carter as joint managing directors.

David Danning is retiring from Blue Diamond after 52 years in the industry, which has included 10 years as garden features buyer at Blue Diamond and more than 40 at Trelawney Garden Centre in Cornwall, which Blue Diamond now runs. Mitch Thompson is taking Danning's Blue Diamond buying role.

Tom Cook, ex British Garden Centres buyer, is MD of a new business called The Gardening Club that Colin Roberts has created for Feltham and Hare Hatch garden centres.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew has appointed Raoul Curtis-Machin as director of gardens, replacing Richard Barley. Curtis-Machin leaves Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, where Simon Milne is due to retire at the end of 2025.
